As part of Nintendo's biggest reveals at E3 this year, Kazuya Mishima from the Tekken franchise will soon be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a DLC character. Fans awaiting for his release will need to wait until June 28 as there will be a presentation of the inclusion of Kazuya as part of a Nintendo Direct.
From the Nintendo Direct presentation at this year's E3, Nintendo has revealed a lot of upcoming games, including a new Metroid game in the franchise, which will be played as a proper 2D styling, similar to how it was nearly two decades ago.
Kazuya Mishima Smash Bros. Release Date: When is it?
Despite the amount of games released, the community's eyes seem to be set toward one of the more bolder collaborations that director, Masahiro Sakurai, has made for this game as there is little connection between fighting game franchise and Nintendo. Regardless, that did not stop the community from raving about how special this bridge between both Tekken and Super Smash Bros. is.
In the trailer from the presentation, Kazuya is shown showcasing the Mishima family tradition - throwing other people off the same cliff into the volcano below. Kazuya won't be alone as his estranged father and the boss of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Heihachi Mishima, will also make a guest appearance to Ultimate as well.
There currently are no news at the moment as to when he will be released, however, Nintendo has only stated that Kazuya's release will be revealed during a Sakurai presentation for a Nintendo Direct on Tuesday, June 28, at 10 a.m. ET. Nintendo has stated on Twitter that this presentation will be roughly 40-minutes long, and will include any reveals for Challenger Pack 11.
