How to Complete Circuit Speedway in Kirby and the Forgotten Land

There are a few objectives players should be aware of inside the Circuit Speedway mission. Some of these require a bit of extra effort to complete, so we’ve listed them below in order of how they can most optimally be completed.

1. Save the first Waddle Dee

The first Waddle Dee can be saved by running the first race in 25 seconds or less. Players can either inhale the car and use their Turbo Boost to leap over tire stacks, use ramps, and other fixtures to avoid mud puddles and enemies. They can also go through the track as Kirby, defeat all the enemies/obstacles, and then run the course with the car. As long as they clock in at under 25 seconds, it will be enough to grant them first place and rescue the first Waddle Dee.

2. Save the second Waddle Dee

The second Waddle Dee can be found behind a secret door which is blocked by a gate. It can be unlocked by flipping a switch located on a moving platform to open the gate just ahead. Once inside, inhale the Bomb Copy Ability and roll a bomb down the nearby ramp toward a button at the bottom. Hitting the button will open Waddle Dee’s cage.

An Invincible Candy can also be found in the room and can be used to quickly beat Wild Edge the mini-boss. Simply climb up the ladder behind the now-freed Waddle Dee.

3. Use Invincible Candy to Defeat Wild Edge

Players can use their invincibility after collecting the Invincible Candy to quickly shut down this mini-boss encounter. Players can essentially ignore the damage from Wild Edge while rapidly burning it down.

4. Collect the Gigant Sword blueprint

This blueprint is housed in a chest just beyond the Wild Edge encounter. Simply walking up to the chest and interacting with it will unlock the chest and grant the blueprint. The blueprint then, of course, can be turned in to Waddle Dee’s Weapon Shop.

5. Save the third Waddle Dee

This third Waddle Dee is hidden. Right after defeating Wild Edge, head for the hallway where the forward door is located. Don’t go through the door, though. Instead, go straight for the far right wall and look in the grass clusters to find the third caged Waddle Dee.

6. Save the fourth Waddle Dee

This fourth Waddle Dee can be saved by running the last race in under 50 seconds or less—which can be achieved by using a cardboard obstacle shortcut and, well, “cheating.”

At the very beginning of the race, jump off-track to the right to hit a segment of track below heading east. Search for a stack of cardboard boxes and use the Turbo Boost to smash right through them. This will continue to be a theme throughout this race. Be sure to jump over any mud and avoid any enemies, as well, as both will slow you down.

Feel free to look for other shortcuts or attempt some epic trick shots along the way for maximum victory.
