LA Valiant Parts Ways with Assistant Coach Dongsu

The Los Angeles Valiant parted ways with its assistant coach Dong-soo "Dongsu" Shin, the organization announced Tuesday.
Dongsu began his time in Overwatch coaching CONBOX Spirit, later rebranded simply as CONBOX. During his time there, he coached future Overwatch League talents such as Park "Architect" Min-ho, Choi "Asher" Joon-seong, Son "OGE" Min-seok and Noh "Gamsu" Young-jin.
Dongsu went on to coach WGS Laurels Nine briefly before accepting his position with the Los Angeles Valiant in February.
Dongsu's departure comes amid a difficult start to the season for the Valiant. After winning the Pacific Division in Season 1, the team has fallen from grace. It now sits at 18th in the league, with a 2-11 record and no signs of changing fortunes.
The Valiant previously parted ways with head coach Byungchul Moon during Stage 1, in which the team failed to pick up a single win.
