As the KFC Battle cutoff date is rapidly approaching, this is your last chance and final reminder to sign up. What is the KFC Battle?
KFC plans to host a KFC Battle tournament for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tailored for central and eastern European aspiring players. A mighty prize awaits the battle winners as KFC will send them to the StarLadder Berlin Major this fall.
The tournament is open to teams from 17 central and eastern European countries, including Poland, Romania, Czech Republic and Hungary.
Some of the benefits of the tournament include its free entry, the ability to test your team’s limits against other teams from different countries, and an awesome grand prize. KFC will award an all-expenses paid trip to the StarLadder Berlin Major for you and your teammates.
The tournament kicks off with online qualifiers hosted by FACEIT and will take place over May, June and July in three stages.
The qualifiers begin with eight open qualifiers through FACEIT each weekend day after May 11, followed by closed qualifiers June 7-9.
Two teams will then advance to a grand final LAN in Moscow on July 13-14, where one team will walk away with the trophy and a free trip to Berlin.
There’s no reason why you and your team shouldn’t sign up if you’re an aspiring CS:GO pro in one of the participating countries. Gather your team and take a shot at bringing home the KFC Battle trophy.
