Last of Us Part 2 Release Date Potentially Teased by Ashley Johnson

The Last of Us Part 2's release date is one of the most closely guarded secrets in gaming today, as the game is expected to be one of the biggest in recent memory. One member of the cast, voice actress Ashley Johnson, may have just given fans a hint as to when that release date will be.
Johnson, who plays series protagonist Ellie, appeared on Between the Sheets, a YouTube interview series produced by the Critical Role channel. During the hour-plus conversation, host Brian W. Foster brought up the question of a release date.
Though Foster cut her off before she could finish her answer, Johnson appeared to be about to say "February."
Industry insight indicates developer Naughty Dog is planning an early 2020 release for The Last of Us Part 2 to keep the slate clear for Death Stranding in November. February as a release date aligns with that timetable, and previous leaks and rumors have pointed to a similar release window.
Still, Naughty Dog has yet to officially announce a release date, and Johnson never finished her sentence, so the true release date remains a mystery.
