League of Legends' Akshan has some players flummoxed on how to best approach him, especially with Wild Rift players. His low win rate has already needed to be addressed by Riot Games, but building around the midlaner can be tricky for new comers. For those in need of a guide to help you master Akshan in League of Legends: Wild Rift, look no further.

Just like with any build, a good place to start is with your runes. Your Keystone Rune for Akshan should be Conqueror, letting him heal as he deals damage to his opponents. For your minor runes, Brutal is a solid option, letting Akshan pierce through armor, and Adaptive Carapace can come in handy if you're in a pinch. To round it out, Hunter Genius is good, letting Akshan use his abilities faster.

Speaking of abilities, this is where the disparity between Wild Rift and mainline League of Legends comes into play. With ~15 minute rounds, players can experiment with unlocking their abilities. For Akshan, picking Avengerang to start, and then maxing it out is the plan, considering it will most likely your most used ability. From there, Heroic Swing or Going Rogue are both good options to level up, so players should use their discretion.

Picking items rounds out Akshan, so starting strong is important. Dorian's Blade is an excellent starting item throughout the game, and Akshan definitely benefits from it. Playstyles vary, so knowing specific items might not help much. The goal for Akshan is selecting items that maximize his attack damage and his critical hit rate.

Other than that, players are free to select whatever items they prefer. Matches vary with the quality of play from your teammates and opponents, so being flexible about your build is a strength. Now that you've got an idea of what to do, your next Wild Rift match with Akshan should be a breeze.
