League of Legends Patch 11.11: 5 Things to Know

League of Legends will have its Wednesday patch yet again for Patch 11.11. There are plenty of champion and item buffs for this patch, but its main feature will be the release of some more Project skins, and the Project: Bastion event on May 27.

1. Vigilant Wardstone is Now Automatically Upgraded

As part of huge buffs for some support items in this patch, Vigilant Wardstone will be automatically upgraded upon completion of the support quest and reaching level 13 in a match. There is a new passive to the item as well, "Blessing of Ixtal," which will increase both ability power and haste, as well as providing bonus attack damage and health.

2. Singed's Fling Ability (E) Has a Shorter Cooldown

If getting away from Singed wasn't hard enough, his Fling ability has just been shortened in hopes of getting him back into the current meta. Previously, his cool down was at 10 seconds, and now can be down to 8 seconds. Prepare for the constant flips in team fights.

3. Nexus Blitz is Back

As part of the Project: Bastion event, Nexus Blitz will return yet again for fans of the game mode. Nexus Blitz is a mode that has plenty of random events where players will skirmish on a compact map in order to destroy the opponent's Nexus.

4. Seraphine's Surround Sound (W) is Buffed

As part of a more controversial buff to Seraphine's viability as a support. Seraphine's buffs are focused on her Surround Sound ability, which casts a shield on herself and allies. Her shield on herself will increase to 75-225 from its current 75-150. On allies, it also increases to 50-150 from 50-100.

5. More Project Skins and Project: Bastion Event

Aside from the nerfs and buffs on items and characters this patch, more Project skins will be released as well. The champions that will receive the Project treatment are: Renekton, Senna, Sylas, Sejuani and Mordekaiser. Mordekaiser and Renekton's skins will be considered "Legendary" at a hefty price of 1,820 RP. Project: Bastion will also be running on May 27 until June 28. The event is said by Riot Games where "battling factions players have met in the past must now band together against a new threat activated by the mysterious Program virus." The event is currently unknown, however the battle pass to participate will probably cost 1,650 RP.
