League of Legends Patch 11.20 is slated to hit servers on Wednesday, Oct. 6. The patch will be the first one in weeks that will not be focused on tuning for the League of Legends World Championship. There is no information about any upcoming changes for Patch 11.20 yet, but we know that many Bewitching skins will be released with it.
With Patch 11.20 being the first patch to not be oriented for professional players, many hope that it will loosen up the meta a little bit and break up the recycled picks coming through in each lane this season. Traditionally, Riot has more flexibility in patching the game after Worlds, as preseason comes soon after and the game switches over to a brand new experience for it's players.
League of Legends Patch 11.20 Release Date
Maintenance for Patch 11.20 should start at about 6:00 a.m. ET. Servers are usually offline for about three hours while the game updates to the next patch. After this, players should have access to what Patch 11.20 holds.
With no champion information available yet, players are still hoping for Patch 11.20 to be a big swing. Underutilized champions will hopefully get their time in the sun, while the professional meta picks will die down as the game's competitive season ends.
