The League of Legends Patch 12.1 update will be hitting the game on Jan. 7, 2022 and has also brought two new skins to the game. As Season 12 begins, Elderwood Gnar and Elderwood Rek'Sai will be available for players to purchase on Jan. 6.
The Elderwood skin set features a variety of different champions in enchanted forest themed skins, with deep purple or glowing aqua details. Other champions with Elderwood themed skins are Ahri, Azir, Bard, Hecarim, LeBlanc, Ornn, Rakan, Soraka, Taric, Veigar and Xayah.
League of Legends Patch 12.1 New Skins
Recently, both the Cafe Cuties and Debonair 2.0 skins sets were released and are still available to purchase as well. For players who would like to purchase any skins in League of Legends, this can be done in the in-game shop.
Certain skins for different champions are only available seasonally or for certain events. For those who want a Cafe Cutie, Debonair 2.0 or new Elderwood skin, it's important to purchase these skins sooner than later as they may not be available for a while.
With the patch update coming out, Elderwood Gnar and Rek'Sai will be available but players of League of Legends can also expect the new Firelight Ekko skin to hit the game soon. Firelight Ekko was introduced to PBE a few weeks ago and have gotten many Ekko players excited.
The Firelight Ekko skin is based off of Ekko's signature Arcane outfit and has gained a lot of positive feedback. For now, the skin is still being tested out in PBE, but is expected to release some time this month.
