The League of Legends Worlds 2020 quarterfinals were confirmed as pools wrapped up. The teams still alive are Suning, G2 Esports, Damwon Gaming, JG Gaming, Gen.G, Fnatic, Top Esports and DRX. Sadly for North America fans, none of the LCS teams made it to the quarterfinals as FlyQuest, Team Liquid and TSM all missed out.

League of Legends Worlds 2020 Quarterfinals Confirmed

For the Quarterfinals round, here are the matchups:

  • Top Esports vs. Fnatic
  • Suning vs. JD Gaming
  • Gen.G vs. G2 Esports
  • Damwon vs. DRX

Damwon vs. DRX is a rematch of the LCK finals where Damwon swept DRX 3-0.

A matchup to watch is Top Esports vs. Fantic. Top Esports is the reigning LPL champions from China. Their mid laner, knight, is considered by many to be the best mid laner in the world. Look for Fnatic to ban away some of knight's best champions like Lucian and Syndra.
