New leaks revealed a Wednesday Addams Emote, inspired by Jenna Ortega's Wednesday dance, is coming to Fortnite.
Epic Games is known for bringing popular mainstream characters from movies, TV shows, comic books, and more to Fortnite. In fact, Family Guy has dominated Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, bringing multiple Peter Griffin skins, as well as a Giant Chicken skin, to the Battle Royale. Now, it looks like Wednesday Addams could be the next familiar face to enter Fortnite...or at the very least, Jenna Ortega's famous dance.
Check out the leaked Wednesday dance Emote below.
LEAK: Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Dance Emote is Coming to Fortnite
According to reliable Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, Jenna's Ortega's viral Wednesday dance is being turned into a Fortnite Emote. The encrypted file was found once Fortnite update v28.20 went live on Feb. 7, 2024.
If the Emote comes to the game as a standalone item, then fans can expect to pay 500 V-Bucks for the iconic dance. However, the presence of the Emote could mean Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Addams is joining the Battle Royale as well.
Is a Wednesday Addams Skin Coming to Fortnite?
Yes, a Wednesday Addams skin is likely coming to Fortnite. Although Epic Games has not confirmed the collaboration with Netflix's hit TV show just yet, the leaked Emote hints at the potential for a Jenna Ortega-inspired skin in Fortnite.
Jenna Ortega could very well be the next celebrity joining the Fortnite Icon Series. Almost all of the recent Fortnite Icon Series members have been musical artists or athletes, so Jenna Ortega would be a welcomed addition.
Fortnite Wednesday Addams Skin and Emote Release Date
Unfortunately, fans might have to wait a long time for the Wednesday Addams skin and Emote to release in Fortnite. Typically, Epic Games launches TV collaborations around the time a new season of the show drops, like the Ciri and Yennefer skins used to promote The Witcher Season 3. However, Wednesday Season 2 is likely not hitting Netflix until 2025, so the release date for Wednesday's skin and Emote are still up in the air.
Stay tuned for more updates as the year progresses.
