Leave No Trace Borderlands 3: Crit Builds Further Nerfed

Leave No Trace is a Borderlands 3 ability that has helped define FL4K as a Vault Hunter, contributing to the critical hit build that has proven most popular for the character. Developer Gearbox Software has taken steps to decrease the power of these crit builds, and Thursday brought another round of changes in that direction. Here's what you need to know.

Leave No Trace Borderlands 3: Crit Builds Further Nerfed

The FL4K nerfs began with the hot fix applied Sept. 27. In that update, Gearbox nerfed Guerillas in the Mist, reducing its duration by two seconds and its damage by 50%. Fans viewed this first nerf as sufficient to kill the crit build, but Gearbox has apparently disagreed.

In a hot fix applied Thursday, Gearbox nerfed Leave No trace by adding a re-trigger delay of 2 seconds. Additionally, the developer buffed Rakk Attack! and Barbaric Yawp to push players away from crit builds.
