Ledge Grab Arrives on PUBG Xbox Live Servers

The new ledge grab system arrived on PUBG Xbox Live servers Tuesday following scheduled maintenance.
The ledge grab system was first announced in a developer update released June 6, landed on PUBG PC test servers June 19, and hit live servers June 26. It extends the game's parkour mechanics to allow players to climb structures whose ledges they reach when jumping.

Players are now able to climb things up to 2.5 meters high and jump from rooftop to rooftop more smoothly, opening up many areas of PUBG's maps that were previously inaccessible.
To activate ledge grab, the player must hold the jump key throughout the jump or press it just before reaching the target ledge. Ledge grabs can be cancelled the same way any other climbing animation in PUBG can be cancelled.
PUBG Corp plans to add more functionality to the system in future updates.
Arriving alongside the ledge grab system are a pair of content additions: the BRDM-2 armored vehicle and the high powered pistol called the Deagle. Maintenance for the patch began at 1 a.m. ET and continued to 5 a.m. ET.
