Back in March, the official Life is Strange Twitter account made a tweet which showcased the release schedule for the remainder of 2019. The tweet contained the release dates for episodes three, four, and five. The fifth episode is also set to release on Dec. 3, 2019.

The new episode is the fourth installment of a five part story from DONTNOD Entertainment. The total development cycle for Life is Strange 2 is approximately 14 months long between the first and final episodes, which is five months longer than the total development time for the first game. As such, fans can expect another high quality episode release on Aug. 22.
