A new LinkedIn update seems to give credence to the story that a soft reboot of the Batman: Arkham series is in the works. A LinkedIn post from a Senior Producer with WB Montreal added a project with an undisclosed title as a part of a "New I.P."— meaning new intellectual property— to their work history as well as collaboration with DC Comics, as spotted by user est1992 on ResetEra.

This project could confirm what Geeks WorldWide previously reported: That the upcoming WB Montreal title is a reboot of the Arkham series coming this fall. That news allegedly came to GWW via sources in the know on the matter.

For now, we do not have confirmation from Rocksteady Studios or Warner Bros. that the title in development is absolutely a reboot of Arkham Asylum. If the speculation of a fall release date turns out to be true, it could be that a summer reveal is coming once industry events like E3 2020 come around.
