London Spitfire Parts Ways with NUS, Guard, Jfeel, Birdring

The London Spitfire announced Thursday the release of players Jihyeok "birdring" Kim, Jongseok "NUS" Kim and Heedong "Guard" Lee and coach Jeong-min "Jfeel" Kim.
Guard was the most recent addition to the team, joining ahead of Overwatch League Season 2 after a year with the South Korean team Element Mystic. Birdring, NUS and Jfeel, on the other hand, were all founding members of the London Spitfire Overwatch League team. Birdring and Jfeel were also members of Kongdoo Panthera, working together for years before Cloud9 purchased the lineup ahead of Overwatch League Season 1.
Today we part ways with @NUS_OW, @Guard, @Birdring, & @JfeelOW.

Birdring in particular had been a star player for London in Season 1, though his contributions were frequently outshone by fellow DPS Junyoung "Profit" Park.
After winning the Overwatch League Season 1 grand finals, the Spitfire struggled to find its footing in Season 2. The team finished seventh in the regular season, then fell victim to the San Francisco Shock's playoffs rampage and lost at seventh-eighth.
