The Love Cup has been announced as an extra sweet treat for trainers participating in Season 6.

Niantic Labs' competitive side of Pokemon GO, the GO Battle League, has a new tournament for its trainers to join. Now, in the middle of Season 6, the team has come forward with a lovely surprise: The Love Cup! Announced on Jan. 25 as a caveat on the main Season 6 blog post, the Love Cup is another special tournament where trainers will have to operate within a set of restrictions in order to enter. Fortunately—despite its name—the Love Cup isn't just a tournament using only Luvdisc.

The Love Cup will run from Feb. 8 to Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. ET. Teams may only be comprised of Pokemon who are primarily red or pink with less than 1500 CP. Legendary and Mythical Pokemon will not be permitted to enter—so put Cresselia away for now.

Niantic released a sizable list of eligible Pokemon underneath its announcement. We've taken the liberty to point out some notable choices below:

  • Charizard
  • Kingler
  • Porygon2
  • Braviary
  • Heatmor
  • Alomomola
