Mac Jones Madden 22 Rating: What is it?
By Max Mallow

Mac Jones' Madden 22 rating is here as fans were curious how the first-round pick would stack up compared to the other players taken before him.
The New England Patriots have had a quarterback issue since Tom Brady left town for Tampa Bay. Fans had hope that one of Jarrett Stidham or Cam Newton would be the answer, but a 7-9 season made it look like a new quarterback might be on the horizon. After seeing Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance and Justin Fields come off the board, the Patriots selected Jones at 15.
Jones is a two-time National Champion in college during his time with Alabama, but Crimson Tide QBs have an iffy track record in the NFL. Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts, both selected in the 2020 Draft, look to be a changing of the tide. Perhaps Jones follows suit.
Mac Jones Madden 22 Rating: What is it?
So, what's Jones' rating in Madden 22? He comes in at 71 overall. He's the lowest rated of the five QBs taken in the first round.
"Jones led all FBS quarterbacks in completion percentage (77.4%) and pass yards (4,500) in 2020, and threw the second-most passing touchdowns (41). He thrived under pressure, too, ranking first among all FBS quarterbacks in completion percentage, pass yards per attempt, passing touchdowns, and passer rating against the blitz," EA Sports said.
One statistic that stands out is his speed at 79 overall. Every other first-round QB has speed above 80 including Fields who is the fastest at 90. Jones is known as more of a pocket passer anyway, but something to keep in mind when trying out these rookies.
