Madden 20 Server Maintenance: How to Know When Madden 20 is Undergoing Maintenance

Madden 20 server maintenance typically takes place so that developer Electronic Arts can improve or repair some aspect of the game. Those changes, whether they be matchmaking fixes or bug zapping, require EA to take the game offline temporarily. Here's how to know when maintenance is underway.

Madden 20 Server Maintenance: How to Know When Madden 20 is Undergoing Maintenance
There are a few different ways to check if Madden's servers are undergoing maintenance at any given time. The first is to check the official Madden Twitter account for an announcement about maintenance. EA tends to announce maintenance provided it's been planned for.
EA also alerts players to problems with connectivity on its official EA Help account. Cross-referencing these two official channels will usually give a good sense of whether or not maintenance is occurring.
Finally, players can check third party sites such as Downdetector to see if other players are having trouble connecting to the game. This won't definitively alert them to server maintenance, but it will fairly reliably determine whether the problem is local or widespread.
