Madden 22 Scouting Franchise Update Release Date: When is it?
By Jack O'Dwyer

Madden 22 launched without a Player Scouting feature, leaving players to wonder when its release date will be.
EA Sports has added quite a few long-awaited features to Franchise Mode with the release of Madden 22 on Aug. 20. The addition of improved management, talent trees, better scenarios, and more have made Franchise into the mode players have been dreaming of. However, it’s missing one key request: Player Scouting.
Madden 22 Scouting Franchise Update Release Date
Player Scouting will come to Franchise Mode sometime in September 2021. Unfortunately, a concrete date has yet to be confirmed by the developer at the time of writing. As the month approaches, however, we can assume the update is slated for a mid-to-late-September release.
According to EA, the feature is getting a much-needed facelift, leading to its delay post launch. Players should find they have expanded control over their scouting while in-game—including a new regional and national breakdown. With Player Scouting in Madden 22, Franchise mode will become a more “in-depth” experience, allowing the customization of scouts for each region across the nation from the East to the West Coast.
Madden 22 is available now for Xbox One/Series S|X, PlayStation 4/5, and PC via Steam and Google Stadia.
