Legends is a Diablo-style MMORPG loot fest set in the landscape of popular card game Magic: The Gathering. Players take on the role of a planeswalker, one of Magic's most powerful wizards, and visit the setting's various planes as they grow their power.

The Magic: Legends website lists five playable classes, each likely corresponding with one of Magic's five colors. Only the Mind Mage and the Geomancer have been revealed so far, the first focusing on earth magic and lava and the second on psychic powers.

Magic: The Gathering creator Wizards of the Coast revealed Magic: Legends at The Game Awards in December. The company also unveiled Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance, a third-person action RPG.
