Here is a guide on Mass Effect’s Virmire choices.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition released on May 14. The game is a compilation of all of the games in the popular ARPG trilogy, Mass Effect. Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 are all included.

Players that have been playing the game have come across the Virmire mission. Virmire is unlocked by completing two of the three initial Mission Worlds: Feros, Noveria and Therum. There’s no punishment for leaving Virmire as the last.

Mass Effect Virmire Choices Guide

There are a handful of choices players can make and each carry out their own consequences.

Virmire: Wrex and the Genophage

At the start of the mission on Virmire, players will learn that Saren has found a cure for the Genophage. This infuriates Wrex because it will be destroyed. Players will have to confront Wrex at the beach to find a compromise.

Players are required to have eight Charm points to convince Wrex to stand down. Alternatively, players who completed the “Wrex: Family” assignment can also achieve it. Otherwise, players can shoot him themselves, order Ashley to shoot him if she was ordered to “Stay Alert” prior. If a compromise can’t be found, Ashley will shoot him herself.

Virmire: Kaidan and Ashley

Towers the end of Virmire, players will be forced to choose to rescue either Kaidan or Ashley. They will be at the bomb site or the AA tower (depending on players’ assignments of Kirrahe’s team).

Saren Conversation on Vimire

At the end of Virmire, players will get an extended conversation with Saren over his allyship with Sovereign. Nearing the conversation’s close, there will be an investigate option on the left side, signalling that the important final choice with Saren will come.

If players pick “It’s already happened!” or “You are indoctrinated” Persuasion options will appear — they have an effect later in the game.
