Max Level in Cold War Beta Increased for Crossplay Beta

The max level in Cold War Beta has been raised, and will be raised again this weekend. The current max level in the Cold War beta is 31, and it will increase in the near future.

Max Level in Cold War Beta Increased for Crossplay Beta

As the Black Ops Cold War beta goes on, the max level cap will increase and allow more unlocks. This week, the level cap was raised to 31 and made the following available to unlock:

  • WEAPONS: LW3 — Tundra sniper rifle, QBZ-83 assault rifle + more
  • PERKS: Cold Blooded, Flak Jacket
  • SCORESTREAK: Napalm Strike
  • WILDCARD: Gunfighter
  • EQUIPMENT: Molotov
  • CUSTOM CLASS: Slot #10

In addition to these upgrades, some new game modes will be playable. Fireteam Dirty Bomb and Hardpoint will be new for this week. New maps include Ruka and Alpine.

On October 17, the level cap will increase again. This weekend, you can get up to level 40 and have these to unlock:

  • WEAPONS: RPD light machine gun, RPG-7 launcher, Magnum pistol + more
  • PERKS: Quartermaster, Ninja
  • SCORESTREAKS: Air Patrol, Chopper Gunner
  • WILDCARD: Perk Greed
  • EQUIPMENT: Decoy, Semtex
  • FIELD UPGRADE: Jammer

This weekend, Control will be playable. There won't be any new maps added for the October 17 beta update.

If you haven't gotten into the Black Ops Cold War beta yet, you can start playing this weekend when it opens up to all players.

Black Ops Cold War will be released November 13.
