Former Virtus.pro player Michał "MICHU" Müller announced his contract with the organization expired Monday.

The Polish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player took to Twitter to make the announcement. "My contract with Virtus.pro has expired and I'm leaving this roster. Thank you all, guys! Now i'm ready for new challenges," MICHU said.

MICHU Announces Virtus.pro Contract Expired

MICHU joined Virtus.pro on a one month loan from Team Kinguin in February 2018. He replaced a benched Viktor "TaZ" Wojtas who eventually transferred to MICHU's former team.

Virtus.pro's Polish core was benched when the organization acquired the former AVANGAR roster, the same team that made a Cinderella run to the StarLadder Berlin Major Final before eventually losing to Astralis.

MICHU's contract expiration announcement might be the start of more benched Virtus.pro players leaving the organization.
