The Minecraft 1.17 update will be released on June 8 at 10 a.m. EST. From groups of Axolotls to glowing lichen in caves, this update will include many new features for players.

Players can discover new blocks on the first part of Minecraft's Caves and Cliffs. Some of the new Minecraft blocks in the 1.17 update include dripleaf, deepslate, moss, azalea, and amethyst geodes.

Minecraft fans can also discover glow berries, which are located in mineshaft chests, as well as deepslate, which can be grown from bone meal and moss.

New blocks in Minecraft aren't the only new features in the update. Players can also look forward to interacting with Axolotls and goats.

Located in Lush Caves, these groups of Axolotls can help you defeat attackers and recover your health.

Players should also approach groups of goats with caution as they can kick you off mountains when they are irritated. However, if you notice a goat crashing into a block, you can receive a Goat Horn from this action, which makes a trumpet-like noise.

Minecraft fans can also expect making new objects from the update's blocks. In discovering caves with Amethyst geodes, players can also use the crystals for creating a Telescope. Along with crystals, players have to use Copper for a Telescope, and this material can be found in ore veins.
