Minecraft Dungeons AFK Farm has become incredibly popular to those looking to grind away for Emeralds or specific gear.

AFK Farming means stepping away from the controls and letting the console do the work for you. It's a common practice in games that feature an auto-attack or auto-battler feature. Even mobile titles like RAID: Shadow Legends has a similar function built in. For Minecraft Dungeons, however, you'll need to have the right setup to achieve maximum AFK gains.

Your best bet to take advantage of the AFK capabilities in Minecraft Dungeons is to rely on companions, artifacts, and similar passive abilities.

You'll want to choose gear that can summon companions such as the Tasty Bone or Golem Kit for your friendly wolf pet and iron golem add. Wonderful Wheat also works as it can summon a llama to fight on your behalf.

We recommend following a similar vein with enchantments. Spend enchantment points toward anything that can deal damage back to your attacker without you having to lift a finger. For example, Thorns.

Your armor should be extremely heavy. Full Metal works great, but Plate and Reinforced Mail can also be useful here. Highlander could work with its damage reduction abilities. You want to put as much cushion between yourself and death as you can afford. Anything that adds a thicker skin to your character will do the job.

On top of this, you should pick up health regeneration artifacts that affect both you and your summoned team. Totem of Regeneration and similar items should take up a good amount of slots. Enchantments can also be used here such as Final Shout.

Now, all you need to do is find a place to stand. The best location for AFK farming right now is on the drawbridge in Pumpkin Pastures just after the Arch-Illager ambush. Park yourself here, or any other location that infinitely spawns enemies, and go grab yourself a snack, hero.

Be warned that you shouldn't take on more than you can handle. If you haven't cleared Default difficulty yet you may have trouble exploiting this build. We encourage you to go down a difficulty level if you're working on Advanced or Apocalypse for best results.

Happy farming!
