Minecraft Dungeons Crashing Xbox: How to Fix
By Jack O'Dwyer
Minecraft Dungeons Crashing on Xbox is causing a major headache for players on Microsoft's side of the console war.
Crashes aren't an uncommon problem, as any veteran gamer will tell you. Titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim are known for their abrupt "crash to desktop" (CTD) problems. It appears that Mojang Studios' recently-released dungeon-crawler is no different. Fortunately, there are plenty of fixes available to get you back in the game.

The first think you'll want to do is restart your console. Believe it or not, the age old, "Have you tried turning it off and on again," tends to be one of the best methods to fix the problem. According to players, the bug that's causing most of the crashes can be fixed with a simple restart.
If this doesn't work, you can also try re-logging. Exiting and re-entering your account can also potentially fix the bug, but this isn't a guaranteed solution so don't worry if it doesn't fix the crashing.
Another option you could try is to make sure all the correct updates and drivers are installed on your console. Content is often optimized for the latest version of its appropriate console's operating system. If it isn't running on that version, then issues can arise whenever the console attempts to run the software.
It's essentially the same principle as to why some computers can't run old games anymore. A CD-ROM made for use in 1995 isn't going to perform the best on Windows 10.
You may also want to lower your graphical settings. When consoles experience too much strain, they tend to—understandably—shut down out of stress.
