As is often the case with major franchise titles, players can pick up extra in-game bonuses by committing to purchasing MLB The Show 20 ahead of release. Those bonuses come in addition to being able to play the game itself as soon as possible.

Pre-ordering MLB The Show 20 earns players an extra Gold Choice card pack for Diamond Dynasty, The Show's version of FIFA's Ultimate Team in which players build their own custom lineups from different versions of professional baseball players throughout history.

Pre-ordering from the PlayStation Store will also grant a Javy Baez Flashback card and 5,000 MLB The Show 20 Stubs to use in Diamond Dynasty.

On the other hand, pre-ordering from GameStop earns players a Gear-Up pack for Diamond Dynasty.

Players can pre-order from other outlets, but won't receive these outlet-exclusive bonuses.

These bonuses are earned regardless of for which edition players opt.

MLB The Show 20 is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4 on March 17.
