Modern Warfare Season 2 is expected to start Feb. 11.

With the end of Season One just around the corner, fans look ahead to Season Two which sees the return of Simon “Ghost” Riley, a familiar face sure to entice longtime Call of Duty fans.

Modern Warfare Season 2: The Return of Ghost

One of the most iconic characters in the Call of Duty franchises was teased to return in Modern Warfare Season 2.

Simon “Ghost” Riley was introduced back in Modern Warfare 2. One of the most iconic moments in Call of Duty history was marked by his death after he was betrayed by General Shepherd.

While his original character will not appear in Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward has reset their timeline and a new instance of Ghost will be reiterated into the beloved franchise.

He will likely be a new operator although there have been no announcements on the scope of his feature.

Modern Warfare Season 2 Release Date

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 is set to start Feb. 11. It's unknown what the season will include completely, but expect new maps, weapons, operators and a battle pass.
