There are a multitude of resources for checking Call of Duty: Modern Warfare server status. The first is the Activision Support website, which tracks server status for all Activision games.

At time of writing, that website was down. For a second line of official information from Activision, players can check Activision Support's official Twitter account.

Finally, if the above resources are exhausted, players can turn to a third-party site such as Downdetector for crowdsourced information about server status.
