Modern Warfare Status Ursula: What is the Bug and How to Fix
A few Modern Warfare players have encounted a bug when updating their game. The status can be listed as "Update Completed Successfully Status: Ursula" or "Status: URSULA." The bug causes the game to update on loop and will lead to the "Update Requires Restart" screen. When the player presses X to continue, the status shows up again and the loop continues.
The bug appears to be a cache issue. Players need to either clear their cache or reinstall Modern Warfare. To clear the cache on your PS4, you should first turn off your PS4. It must be completely off to clear its cache. While the PS4 is shutting down, its indicator light will blink. Wait until it stops blinking; that is when you know your PS4 is completely off. Disconnect the PS4's power cord from the back of the console and wait at least 30 seconds before plugging the cord back into the PS4.
If that doesn't work, trying clearing your reserved space in the settings menu. Close Modern Warfare and start up a different game. Once that game is up and running, close it and try opening up Modern Warfare again. If you are still getting the bug, you will likely have to reinstall the game.
