Mortal Kombat 11 Jax Ending: What's the Fuss About?

Mortal Kombat 11 Jax ending has caused a stir on the internet. Some fans of the series do not approve of Jax "getting woke" at the end of his ending.

For a game franchise known for gore and scantily clad women, this sudden tilt towards "wokeness" has been considered as a sudden about face by some long time fans of the game.

After obtaining his victory Jax, a former loyal military man, vows to use his new found power to help the disadvantaged live the American Dream. He says, "I’m not waiting centuries for people to get woke, when I’ve got the power to speed things up" and vows to make the world a better place.

This has drawn negative responses from fans despite its positive message. Some say that this ending disturbs Jax's characterization as a patriotic family man who believes strongly in adhering to morals and the law. A grab for such power is not like Jax.

Other fans flat out disagreed with the woke theme of the entire ending. They see it as unneeded politicization that is pushing charged opinions upon players.

Mortal Kombat 11 will be released on April 23. The game will feature a wide roster, new achievements, and of course more brutal ways to finish off your opponents.
