Mortal Kombat 11 Mercy
Performing a Mercy will resurrect your opponent, giving them another shot at defeating you. More often than not though, this is used to taunt an opponent once a player is significantly in the lead. There is also an Achievement/Trophy entitled "Not Dead Yet" which requires users to show Mercy ten times.
How do you pull one off? Once you are about to knock out your enemy and the "Finish Him/Her" sign pops up, instead of performing a Fatality, press L2 + DOWN , L2 + DOWN , L2 + DOWN on PlayStation 4 or LT + DOWN, LT + DOWN, LT + DOWN on XBox One to show your opponent Mercy.
Do note that this can only be used in the last round of a match. You must also be about mid-distance, or around four steps, away from your opponent before spamming the button combo listed above three times. Doing so too close or too far will not trigger the Mercy animation.
Mortal Kombat 11 will be released on April 23. The game will feature a wide roster, new achievements, and of course more brutal ways to finish off your opponents.
