Mortal Kombat 11 Mercy Input: How to Perform Mercies

Mortal Kombat 11 Mercy input is a way to taunt your opponent, asserting utter dominance over them by allowing them a second chance to beat you. Performing a Mercy is more tilting than any trash talk, telling your opponent tacitly that no matter how many times they try, you’ll still beat them. Here’s how to perform Mercies.

Once you’ve won the final round of your match, you’ll have the chance to perform a Mercy instead of a Fatality. Move to around half a screen away from your opponent and hold the Flip Stance button. By default, the button should be left trigger on Xbox One, L2 on PlayStation 4, ZL on the Nintendo Switch or U on the PC.
While holding the Flip Stance button, press down on the D-Pad (or S on the keyboard) around four times. This should revive your opponent with something like 20% of their max health, completing the Mercy. If you defeat them again, you’ll get the chance to perform a Fatality and truly destroy their dreams. And since you can’t loop Mercies beyond the first, you might as well.
