Mortal Kombat 11 Severed Heads: How to Complete the Skull Kabob Achievement

Mortal Kombat 11 severed heads are needed to get the Skull Kabob achievement.

Mortal Kombat 11 was released April 23 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mortal Kombat 11 is the latest game in the long-running fighting game franchise known for its signature violence.

As is common for games, there are many achievements unlocked by completing certain tasks. One of the more difficult challenges is the one that requires players to impale a head in the Warrior Shrine.

Mortal Kombat 11 Severed Heads

In order to get a severed head to complete the Skull Kabob achievement, players must execute 11 Fatalities fifty times against the same opposing character. It does not need to be the same character for all fifty fatalities, so players can swap freely, but it must be done in mirror matches.

This can be fairly time-consuming so players can be advised to try different methods such as setting the gameplay win condition to best-of-one-rounds to expedite matches.

Alternatively, players can try farming through the Survivor Towers within Klassic Towers, a section in the Towers of Time, facing off against preferred characters at the Very Easy difficult to farm Fatalities.

Once the fifty fatalities have been executed, players will receive their severed heads and can visit the Warrior Shrine in the Krypt. Impaling the head in front of the corresponding carving will earn the Skull Kabob achivement.

While in the Krypt, players can also try and farm for Shao Kahn chests.
