The mixed European lineup had its back against the way after losing its second match of the group stage to Team Liquid. From there on out, it was do or die managing to defeat Renegades and ATK to qualify for the playoffs.
Fnatic had an even more difficult run to the playoffs after dropping its opening best-of-one to Evil Geniuses. Three straight lower round wins against notable teams such as MIBR and 100 Thieves meant Fnatic had to go through Team Liquid and Natus Vincere to make the playoffs.
Mousesports' win means the team walks away with $250,000, a win toward Intel Grand Slam Season 4 and a direct seed into IEM Katowice 2020.
