MW2 Season 3 Multiplayer Free Access: Start Date, End Date, Maps, How to Play

Modern Warfare 2 is hosting another multiplayer free access period for a limited time. Here's when it starts, ends and how to play.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 recently received its Season 3 update, adding in a variety of new features and content for players to get stuck into. A seasonal reset is also the perfect time for new players to try out Modern Warfare 2 for themselves. Thankfully, Activision have made that easier than ever.

Once again, players can take part in a free access period in Modern Warfare 2 where they'll be able to play the multiplayer mode without having to drop money on the full version of the game. The free access includes the six Core Multiplayer maps, four Gunfight maps, a Battle Map, and multiple game modes from MW2.

Modern Warfare 2's Season 3 free access period runs from April 19 at 10 a.m. PT through to April 26 at 10 a.m. PT.

In order to take advantage of the Modern Warfare 2 free access period in Season 3, players should head to their desired platform's store front and look for the free download.
