Naraka: Bladepoint World Championship Kicks Off Jan. 13 With a $1.5 Million Prize Pool

The Naraka: Bladepoint World Championship (NBWC), the mythical action combat battle royale's first major competitive tournament, will begin on Friday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. ET, and end on Sunday, Jan. 16.

As teased in the trailer, the event is set to gather the best of the best Naraka: Bladepoint trios from around the world to compete for glory.

After Naraka: Bladepoint was initially released on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) on Aug. 12, 2021, the title is set to have its first major esports tournament take place this week courtesy of the NBWC in Singapore.

Featured in the event will be teams from North America, Europe, South East Asia, and Asia, including four professional teams in Nigma, Alliance, NOCT, and LDLC OL.

Ultimately, only one team will emerge victoriously and be crowned the Naraka: Bladepoint World Champions, as well as handed The Ancient Cup and a grand total prize of $1.5 million USD.

The NBWC will be live-streamed this weekend on the official Naraka: Bladepoint Twitch channel in English, and its Facebook and NimoTV pages in Vietnamese.

When the NBWC kicks off, viewers should also be on the lookout for several exclusive in-game Naraka: Bladepoint World Championship items that can be earned for free via stream drops:
