NBA 2K20 Pre-Order: What Do You Get?

NBA 2K20 pre-orders are flying in as fans of the basketball simulator can't wait to get their hands on the next entry from 2K Games.

NBA 2K20 features Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis on the cover. Additionally, there's a special Legend Edition of the game that features recently retired shooting guard Dwyane Wade.

Fans are wondering, as do most fans pre-ordering a game, if it's worth it to pre-order NBA 2K20. Here's everything you need to know.

NBA 2K20 Pre-Order: What Do You Get?

Here's a full list of items one'll get pre-ordering the NBA 2K20 standard edition through Gamestop:

  • 5,000 Virtual Currency
  • 5,000 MyTEAM Points
  • 5 MyCAREER Skill Boosts
  • MyPLAYER Clothing Capsule
  • 10 MyTEAM League Packs (delivered one a week)
  • 5 Heat Check packs (delivered one a week beginning at the start of the NBA season)

The Legend Edition provides the same bonuses numerically amplified plus a MyPLAYER apparel and shoe collection. Legend Edition pre-orders also include five MyTEAM themed packs and two Sapphire MyTEAM athlete cards.

Those who either pre-order the game online or in stores will receive the code packed with the game copy.

NBA 2K20 releases Sept. 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and PC. The standard edition costs $59.99 while the Legend Edition is priced at $99.99.
