Nemesis Perks Explained in Dead by Daylight

Nemesis Perks will add some much needed nuance to the high-tier perk list.

In Dead by Daylight's next chapter, a Killer will be introduced alongside two survivors from the hit horror series, Resident Evil.

Resident Evil DLC will bring a formidable foe called the Nemesis, which this character will bring some interesting perks that are dangerous to survivors. A notable power Nemesis holds is the ability to infect survivors with the T-Virus, a disease known for turning humans into zombies; T-Virus is a dangerous strain that has caused outbreaks in the Resident Evil series.

Nemesis Perks Explained in Dead by Daylight

The upcoming chapter for Dead by Daylight will introduce a killer and two survivors from the Resident Evil series. The DLC will feature new mechanics and abilities the event will hold. Special abilities from the killer, Nemesis will include:

  • Tentacle Strike
  • Infection
  • Damage Rate Decrease

Tentacle strike from the killer will help the foe hurt the survivors at a distance, adding a disease to the victim. Once the victim is infected, the T-virus will decrease the survivor's life at a slow rate. Aside from the abilities, Nemesis' following perks are:

Perk: Hysteria

  • Description: You know how to brutalize one member of a team to cause a panic.
  • Effect: Whenever you put a healthy Survivor in the injured state with a basic attack, all injured Survivors suffer from the Oblivious status effect for 20 seconds. Can only be triggered once every 60 seconds.

Perk: Lethal Pursuer

  • Description: You’ve been designed to track down and eliminate targets.
  • Effect: At the start of the trial, the auras of all Survivors are revealed to you for 5 seconds.

Perk: Eruption

  • Description: The NE-a parasite provides you with the intelligence and awareness needed to set a trap.
  • Effect: After kicking a generator, its aura is highlighted in yellow. When you put a Survivor in the dying state with a basic attack, every affected generator explodes, regressing their progress by 6% and causing their auras to disappear. Any Survivor repairing a generator when it explodes will scream and suffer from the Incapacitated status effect for 10 seconds.

These perks and abilities are sure to cause panic against the survivors trying to survive until daylight.
