FaZe Clan announced Filip "NEO" Kubski's departure Wednesday from its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team.
CS:GO Update: NEO will no longer be a substitute for our roster. We want to thank him for his efforts and contribution to the team. It's been a pleasure working with such a legend and we wish him the best of luck for future endeavors. pic.twitter.com/wbhsPvAtvt

NEO joined FaZe's CS:GO team as a trial player in May after the team parted ways with Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev. The Major champion played at five events for FaZe, including ESL One Cologne, the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals and StarLadder Berlin Major.
FaZe failed to advance from the Legends Stage at the Major, meaning the European lineup will be in the Challengers Stage for the first 2020 Major.
"NEO will no longer be a substitute for our roster. We want to thank him for his efforts and contribution to the team. It's been a pleasure working with such a legend and we wish him the best of luck for future endeavors," FaZe Clan said in its announcement.
NEO's best performance with FaZe came at BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles where the team fell to Team Liquid in the final.
Rumors circulating suggest former MIBR star Marcelo "coldzera" David is on his way to FaZe Clan, although it's still just speculation.
