Electronic Arts and Repsawn Entertainment posted a teaser leading up to EA Play getting fans excited for the upcoming Apex Legends announcements.


Apex Legends is set to be on full display at EA Play, the company's E3 showcase event kicking off the expo. The game released February following the Super Bowl and the battle royale genre has felt its impact.


Fans want more content so the game stays relevant alongside the likes of Fortnite and PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS. A new Legend would certainly do the trick to build hype at E3.

New Apex Legends Character Potentially Teased in E3 Announcement


"T-two days until we go live from EA Play! Don't forget to mark your calendars. It's sure to be... electrifying," the tweet said.


Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment are already set to reveal Apex Legends Season 2. Content expected includes a new Battle Pass, new weapons, a new Legend and more. Who that legend might be remains a mystery, but it's a hopeful sign to see teasers to show how impactful the game will be during the conference.


EA Play is set to start 12:15 p.m. ET Saturday.
