New Dota 2 Hero Snapfire Revealed at TI9

A new Dota 2 Hero Snapfire has been revealed just prior to the All Stars Match at The International 2019 in Shanghai. Valve continues to live up to the tradition of hero reveals at TI. Here's what we know so far.

New Dota 2 Hero Snapfire

During the Team Liquid vs. EG series, we got hit with a hero trailer out of nowhere. Check out the video here:

There's no info about her kit so far, but here are the big details we picked up from the cinematic:

1. Tri-Barrel Shotgun

It looks like Snapfire's main weapon will be a tri-barrel shotgun. Visually, this pins her in a bit of a core position, but she'll definitely be a ranged hero.

2. Pet Dragon

Snapfire has some kind of pet mechanic. She's shown both riding her fire-spewing dragon with a saddle and fighting separately, so we could be looking at a new mechanic for mounting and dismounting.

3. Gatling Guns

Perhaps Snapfire's ultimate will be related to the scene in her trailer where she rides her dragon and throws out lead towards her enemies.

There's no set date on Snapfire's release, but her trailer ended with a Fall 2019 tease.
