New Maps Revealed for Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 1

Some new maps are heading our way in Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 1. Here's what you need to know.

The official launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 1 is set to hit tomorrow, on Dec. 8. Sledgehammer Games recently took to Twitter to update fans with a number of fixes and changes heading to the game, as well as what we can expect from Season 1.

Amongst the new features are two new maps for players to dive into, both of which will be present at the launch of the season. So, what can players look forward to tomorrow?

New Maps Revealed for Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 1

The first of two maps is a brand new location that matches the theme of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific. Titled "Paradise," this medium-sized map hosts an underground tunnel and some treacherous toxic waste.

The map's official description on the Call of Duty blog reads, "A weapons testing site somewhere in the Pacific Ocean hosts all task force Operators for joint exercises. Medium-sized three-lane-style map featuring an underground tunnel and pools of toxic waste."

The second of the two new maps is a reimagined version of Modern Warfare 3's Dome. Called "Radar," this intimate map will be perfect for those who like close encounter matches.

The official description of this map reads, "A reimagined version of Dome, the classic Modern Warfare 3 map. This small radar station in the Pacific is built for fast-paced combat. Remember to not camp on the catwalks."

These new maps are sure to breathe a bit of life into Vanguard, and are a great way to get stuck into this new wave of Call of Duty. Be sure to check it out when it drops tomorrow.
