New Weapon Balancing Introduced in Apex Legends Patch 1.1.1

Apex Legends Patch 1.1.1 came out Tuesday, introducing a new wave of important weapon balancing.

Multiple weapons and attachments were modified in the patch to, per Respawn Entertainment in the patch notes, "...improve the power of long range gameplay."

Apex Legends Patch 1.1.1 Weapon Balance

Here's a full list of weapon balance changes in Apex Legends Patch 1.1.1:

G7 Scout / Triple Take / Longbow DMR

  • Lowered leg shot damage reduction from 25% to 10%
  • Reduced base weapon sway by about 33%
  • Reduced base sway speed by about 25%

Longbow DMR

  • Increased fire rate from 1.2 to 1.6
  • Increased base magazine size from 5 to 6
  • Increased common mag extender from 6 to 8
  • Increased rare mag extender from 8 to 10
  • Increased epic mag extender from 10 to 12

Havoc

  • Increased base magazine size from 25 to 32
  • Charge Beam cost per shot reduced from 5 to 4
  • Charge Beam close range damage increased from 55 to 60
  • Charge Beam damage at range increased from 45 to 50
  • Charge Beam close range damage falloff increased from 35m to 75m
  • Charge Beam ranged damage falloff increased from 75m to 125,

Wingman

  • Reduced magazine size
  • Base mag reduced from 6 to 4
  • Common mag extender reduced from 8 to 6
  • Rare mag extender reduced from 9 to 8
  • Epic mag extender reduced from 12 to 10

Spitfire

  • Reduced base damage from 20 to 18
  • Common mag extender reduced from 45 to 40
  • Rare mag extender reduced from 55 to 45
  • Epic mag extender reduced from 60 to 55

Gold Weapon Attachment Adjustments

  • Gold Havoc now has Turbocharger and 1x-2x Variable Holo
  • Gold R301 now has 1x-2x Variable Holo
  • Gold Wingman now has Digital Threat
