New World Winter Convergence Quests Explained
By Jack O'Dwyer

New World’s seasonal holiday event, Winter Convergence, has its own quest line for players to undertake.
The Winter Convergence quest chain can be picked up at any of four Winter Villages setup around Aeternum. The event, itself, focuses on player intervention with the help of the Winter Wanderer to turn the tide against the Forever Winter. To that end, there are seven quests—each with its own level requirement—that are available to complete.

New World Winter Convergence Quests Explained
We’ve given each of the eight quests their own subheading and a brief explanation of what is required to complete them. Additionally, this guide will be as spoiler-free as possible, and spoilers will be marked—should there be the need for any.
1. The Winter Convergence [Level 15]
This is the introductory quest and, as such, shouldn’t take very long at all. The Winter Wanderer will direct players to Holiday Huts in Winter Villages to check out the new items that can be crafted there.
Once done, players can return to the Winter Wanderer for their rewards.
Rewards for this quest include one Winter Token, ~1200 experience, ~68 gold, 175 Territory Rep, and 50 Azoth.

2. Tree of Light [Level 15]
Continuing the introductory quests is the “Tree of Light,” which tasks players with picking up their first daily reward from the village’s Tree of Light. These rewards refresh daily so players are encouraged to check the Winter Villages’ Trees of Light every day for their items. The quest itself, however, is not repeatable.
Once collected, players should return to the Winter Wanderer for their rewards.
Rewards for this quest include one Winter Token, ~1200 experience, ~68 gold, 175 Territory Rep, and 50 Azoth.
3. All Together Now [Level 15]
As a follow-up explanation to Trees of Light, “All Together Now” teaches players how to check the upgrade progress of a village’s Tree of Light and how to go about pitching in. This quest simply tasks players with checking out the Town Projects Board.
Once looked into, players can return to the Winter Wanderer for their rewards.
Rewards for this quest include one Winter Token, ~1200 experience, ~68 gold, 175 Territory Rep, and 50 Azoth.

4. Gleamite Crystals [Level 15]
The third introductory quest teaches players about the Gleamite Showers that happen randomly throughout Aeternum. Every so often, a rift will open in the sky and Gleamite deposits will rain down to the ground. Players can mine these deposits for Gleamite crystals to be taken to the Winter Village.
Once found and mined, players should return to the Winter Wanderer for their rewards.
Rewards for this quest include one Winter Token, ~1200 experience, ~68 gold, 175 Territory Rep, and 50 Azoth.
5. Joy Recaptured [Level 15]
The fourth introductory quest guides players through Lost Present Recovery, which can be done throughout the event. Presents have been scattered throughout Aeternum and it’s up to players taking part in the Winter Convergence event to return them to Winter Villages. Some presents may be floating and require a ranged weapon to be brought down. Once returned, players should return to the Winter Wanderer for their rewards.
Rewards for this quest include one Winter Token, ~1200 experience, ~68 gold, 175 Territory Rep, and 50 Azoth.
6. Yetis Abound [Level 25]
With the introductions over, players can move on to the real adventuring. “Yetis Abound” tasks players with defeating the level 25 wild Yetis that have appeared in Aeternum inside Ice Caves. There are three named enemies that need to be defeated to advance this quest:
- Rames in Everfall
- Hari in Monarch's Bluffs
- Sunit in First Light
Upon defeating all three, players should return to the Winter Wanderer.
Rewards for this quest include one Premium Winter Token, ~1200 experience, ~68 gold, 175 Territory Rep, and 50 Azoth.

7. Wanderer Reborn [Level 25]
This is a long one that may take players a bit of time to complete. The only objective is to reach the Winter Convergence event reputation tier “Merrymaker.” This is the third tier and requires 3000 event reputation.
Ways to grind event reputation include completing the quests above and performing their associated tasks whenever possible.
Once players hit Merrymaker rank, they can return to the Winter Wanderer for the final quest in the chain.
Rewards for this quest include one Premium Winter Token, ~1200 experience, ~68 gold, 175 Territory Rep, and 50 Azoth
8. Winter Warrior [Level 60]
Time for the grand finale: the battle for Forever Winter against the Winter Warrior, himself. Those looking to take on this frosty antagonist will need to collect two runestones in order to divine his location. They can be picked up from:
- Isvari in Edengrove
- Sesa in Ebonscale Reach
With both runestones collected, the Winter Warrior’s cave will be revealed, and players can prepare themselves for the ultimate battle to save Aeternum from a future of ice and snow. Those who return from the fight should go see the Winter Wanderer for their rewards.
Rewards for this quest include one Premium Winter Token, ~3000 experience, ~112 gold, 175 Territory Rep, and 50 Azoth.
The Winter Convergence event will run until Jan. 11, 2022.
