Nezha Tracer Skin Revealed for Overwatch Year of the Tiger Event 2022

A Nezha Tracer legendary skin has been revealed for Overwatch's Year of the Tiger Lunar New Year Event. On Jan. 24, Blizzard Entertainment released a short, video trailer to announce the Overwatch gunslinger's new skin.

Nezha Tracer will be available at the start of the Year of the Tiger event on Jan. 25. Overwatch players can also expect older skins from previous Lunar New Year events to return. For those who were unable to purchase a skin that they had previously wanted, now is the time to pick it up.

Tracer's skin will be available as part of the new Lunar Year Loot Boxes now available in the Overwatch store. Lunar New Year Loot Boxes are available to purchase or earn through in-game systems through Feb. 15, 2022.

Play games in Quick Play, Competitive Play, or the Arcade to unlock Loot Boxes for a chance at the new Nezha Tracer skin today! Overwatch's 2022 Lunar New Year limited-time event—celebrating the Year of the Tiger—will run from Jan. 25 to Feb. 15.

Overwatch tends to bring out the same capture-the-flag-style mode around this time every year so it wouldn't be surprising to see it again, now. The pre-existing maps will likely also be decorated in bright red and gold—two major colors of the holiday signifying luck, good fortune, and prosperity. Nezha Tracer would look very cool roaming through the bright red and gold maps.
