NFL Rookies React to Their Madden 21 Ratings

Madden 21 is just around the corner, and a new Madden means new rookies will be making their debut. Madden released videos chronicling this year's fresh talent reacting to their ratings.
It's tradition to have the new rookies react to their in-game ratings, and the young players often overestimate their skills. Their reactions to their actual ratings are often hilarious, and some of their speculations are spot on.
NFL Rookies Quarterbacks React To Their Madden 21 Ratings
The first video shows rookie quarterbacks receiving the news from Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young. Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts and Jordan Love are featured in the clip reacting to their scores. Tagovailoa is rather humble here, vastly underestimating his ratings. All of the quarterbacks guess their scores within a good margin.
NFL Rookie WRs React To Their Madden 21 Ratings
Another video shows this year's wide receivers guessing their scores. Six-time NFL Pro Bowler Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson presents the ratings to the surprise and delight of rookie WRs CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III Tee Higgins. The wide receivers are a little more boastful, with Tee Higgins hilariously overshooting his run blocking score. Jerry Jeudy also has a funny reaction to his zone coverage rating of 31. "I don't know why I said 70!" Jeudy laughs.
Madden and ESPN are teaming up to reveal the remainder of the ratings. July 13 is the beginning of Ratings Week, where all of the other players' ratings will be revealed on various ESPN programs. The first day will have the Madden 99 Club, the game's highest players, revealed on Get Up. The rest of the ratings will be revealed on First Take, SportsCenter and NFL Live throughout the week.
Madden NFL 21 releases Aug. 28 for PC, PS4 and Xbox. The game will also be a launch title for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
