On April 26, 2022, the Overwatch 2 PvP Beta began to roll out. Since OW 2 was announced back at the 2019 Blizzcon, fans have been patiently (and excitedly) waiting for a chance to experience the next edition of the Overwatch franchise. It will be a new game with many familiar faces-- which may leave people wondering, have any changes been made to champions' ability kits? In this article, we're going to cover Moira, and how she may or may not have changed thus far.

Overwatch 2 Moira Rework Detailed

So far, Moira in Overwatch 2 seems to have the same weapon and ability kit that she had in the original Overwatch game, and no changes have been made to how her weapon or abilities work. However, something to take note of is that she now has a passive. In Overwatch 2, all heroes will now have a passive ability that aligns with their role. Moira, a support hero, will now automatically heal over time. Read more about how passives work here.

It is important to consider that Overwatch 2 is still in beta, and that there are probably many changes that have yet to be implemented. There is a chance that more will be changed about Moira or passive abilities, but we will not know until the game is officially released. Overwatch 2 is expected to come out in 2023.
