Overwatch Echo: Echo Will Reportedly Be the 32nd Hero at BlizzCon
Sadly, the report or document doesn't go into full detail on Echo at all. The news is going of of art work that suggest she will be a focus of the event and a promise from last year, "Referenced by the artwork in the document, Blizzard is expected to reveal Echo as Overwatch's 32nd hero. Blizzard first showed off Echo at BlizzCon last year, and game director Jeff Kaplan said they had "big plans for her" as of late last year.
Despite the report, a lot is still unknown. Will Echo only be available for Overwatch players? How about Overwatch 2? Will all future heroes be made available only on Overwatch 2?
The report doesn't show the cost or how the game will arrive (whether in a DLC form or a completely separate game). It sounds like you'll have everything from the first Overwatch plus everything new, or it could simply bring over the heroes and have all new maps. But most likely, Overwatch 2 will feel like a massive DLC.
